Sign up for an account - business employersShow

You can sign up for an EP Online account if you are:

  • A business owner. You must be a Singapore citizen, Singapore permanent resident or an EntrePass holder.
  • An employee of a registered business. You must be a Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident.
  • A foreign employee of a registered business. You must hold an Employment Pass (EP), Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), or S Pass.

To sign up for an account:

  1. Log in to Work Pass Account Registration (WPAR) using your SingPass.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. After 5 working days, you can check your application status.

Your EP Online administrator's duties

During registration, you must appoint an EP Online administrator. This person should preferably be the business owner, a director or a senior employee.

The administrator can appoint another administrator. You can appoint up to 2 administrators.

You should appoint a second administrator. This will minimise any disruption to your business in case one of the administrators is not around or leaves the company.

The administrator can create up to 4 user accounts.

Your CorpPass administrator's duties

Your CorpPass administrator must also assign access to the EP Online administrators and users for them to log in to EP Online.

You can apply for an EP Online account as an employment agency to transact for your clients.

How to sign up

To sign up for an account:

  1. Read and understand the EP Online / WP Online terms and conditions.
  2. Sign up for EP Online account and provide your key appointment holder’s NRIC.
  3. To pay by GIRO, complete the GIRO application form and post it to:

  4. After 7 working days, you can log in to your account.

Your EP Online administrator's duties

During registration, you must appoint an EP Online administrator. This person must be a registered KAH or EA personnel.

The administrator can appoint another administrator. You can appoint up to 2 administrators.

You should appoint a second administrator. This will minimise any disruption to your business in case one of the administrators is not around or leaves the company.

The administrator can create up to 4 user accounts.

Your CorpPass administrator's duties

Your CorpPass administrator must also assign access to the EP Online administrators and users for them to log in to EP Online.

Your CorpPass admin user or sub-admin user must:

  1. Log in to CorpPass account.
  2. Go to the e-Service Access tab.
  3. Choose Employment Pass Online (EPOL) as one of your company’s eServices.
  4. Assign Employment Pass Online (EPOL) eService to the EP Online administrators and users.

I already have a CorpPass account. Why can't I log in to EP Online?Show

To log in, these steps must be completed:

  1. Your company must first register for an EP Online account.
  2. Your EP Online administrator needs to grant you access.
  3. Your CorpPass administrator must assign you with EP Online access.

Not all CorpPass users will be granted access to EP Online. We perform additional checks on the EP Online administrators and users to ensure that only eligible persons can perform work pass transactions.

Check if you can access EP Online using CorpPassShow

Before checking, you must ensure that you've been appointed as an administrator or user of the EP Online account.

To check:

  1. Log in to your CorpPass account.
  2. Go to assigned e-Services tab. You should see Employment Pass Online (EPOL) listed as one of your assigned e-Services.

If Employment Pass Online (EPOL) is not listed as one of your assigned e-Services, please ask your CorpPass admin user or sub-admin user to assign the eService to you.

What are the browser requirements?Show

You can use the following web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 11 (recommended)
  • Firefox version 24 or higher
  • Chrome version 30 or higher
  • Safari version 7 or higher

You will need to allow browser popups for EP Online.

What transactions I can do in EP Online?Show

The appointed administrator and user can do the following transactions using EP Online:

  • Apply for new Employment Pass (excluding Sponsorship scheme), S Pass, Dependant's Pass (except dependants of Personalised Employment Pass), Long Term Visit Pass, Letter of Consent and Training Employment Pass (not applicable to employment agencies).
  • Renew Employment Pass (excluding Sponsorship scheme), S Pass, Dependant's Pass (except dependants of Personalised Employment Pass), Long Term Visit Pass and Letter of Consent.
  • Upload relevant supporting documents for a work pass or related pass application.
  • Appeal for rejected applications.
  • Check application and renewal status.
  • Issue Employment Pass, S Pass and related passes.
  • Cancel Employment Pass, S Pass and related passes.
  • View rejection reasons for most of the unsuccessful applications.
  • Print application outcome letter and Issuance of Notification Letter.
  • Check organisation’s S Pass quota and tier information.

What payment methods can I use?Show

You can pay with:

  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • Internet Direct Debit
  • GIRO

I am not sure if my payment was successful. What should I do?Show

To check if your payment was successful:

  1. Log in to EP Online.
  2. Use the “Enquire” function and choose “Payment Status”.
  3. Choose the transaction type.

The payment status shown should be “Paid”.

If payment status is “Failed”, you will need to re-submit the transaction and make payment again.

Can I request for a refund of the admin fee?Show

MOM does not refund admin fees.

Admin fees are used to recover the cost of providing services to you, e.g. processing work pass applications.

However, if multiple payments were made due to MOM’s error, we will give a refund for the extra payments.

How do I pay admin fees through GIRO?Show

To pay the work pass administrative fees using GIRO:

  1. Print the GIRO form.
  2. Complete Part 1 of the form.
  3. Post the original completed form to:

You will receive the outcome by post in. It may take 4 weeks or more, depending on your bank. While GIRO payment is being set up, you need to pay your fees using available methods.

Once GIRO payment is set up, deductions will take place on the 17th of the following month (or the next working day if the 17th falls on a weekend or public holiday). Make sure you have enough funds for the GIRO deduction.

What is the difference between an administrator and a user?Show

The administrator can:

  • Grant access to the company’s employees as EP Online users.
  • Terminate users’ access if they leave the company or no longer need access.

You should appoint a second administrator. This will minimise any disruption to your business in case one of the administrators is not around or leaves the company.

How do I change administrators or users?Show

If your EP Online administrator or user has left the company, or no longer needs access, your EP Online administrator must remove their access immediately.

Otherwise, we may suspend your company’s EP Online account.

To remove or appoint another administrator or user, your EP Online administrator must:

  1. Log in to EP Online.
  2. Use the Manage User Account function to submit the request.

Your request will be processed within 3 working days.

If you only have 1 EP Online administrator and the person has already left the company, you must submit a request to change administrator immediately.

What are the requirements for uploading documents?Show

Ensure that your scanned copies are clear and correct. If not, you may be asked to re-submit them.

Each document must be in PDF format and under 2MB in size.

Documents that are not in English should be submitted together with an official English translation. Scan and upload both documents as one file.

You can refer to the list of supporting documents to be uploaded for the various pass applications.

When are the peak periods for EP Online?Show

The peak periods for EP Online transactions are:

  • Daily from 10am to 12pm, and 2pm to 4pm.
  • Mondays and days just before or after a public holiday.

You may experience slower speeds during these periods. Avoid them if you can.
