You must cancel your confinement nanny's Work Permit if she no longer works for you or when her Work Permit expires.

Note:
- You must settle all outstanding employment issues that the nanny may raise, including salary payment, before cancelling her Work Permit.
- Your nanny must leave Singapore before her visit pass expires.
- If your nanny has left Singapore permanently, you must cancel the Work Permit within 1 week from her departure date.

When to cancel the Work Permit
Depending on which comes first, you must cancel the Work Permit and issue the worker with Special pass if she is still in Singapore:
- Within 1 week after her last day of work.
OR
- 1 day after her Work Permit expires.
Otherwise, an overstaying fine will be imposed.

Once the Work Permit is cancelled, the nanny cannot work, even while waiting to leave Singapore. Please ensure that she has a valid legal stay at all times. Otherwise, overstaying fine will be imposed
Levy will be charged until 1 day before the cancellation.
