Renew, cancel or replace a Letter of Consent for Dependant’s Pass holders who are business owners

You can cancel a Letter of Consent (LOC) or renew it before it expires. You can also replace it if you have lost your LOC.

Renew an LOC

What is required

At the point of renewal application, you should have:

  • At least 3 months of validity remaining on your Dependant’s Pass.
  • Hired at least 1 Singaporean / Permanent Resident who:
    • Earns at least the prevailing Local Qualifying Salary.
    • Has been receiving CPF contributions for at least 3 consecutive months preceding the application submission date.
When to renew

You can renew your LOC when you renew your Dependant’s Pass. You can renew up to 6 months before your LOC expires.

The duration of the renewed LOC starts after the current LOC expires.

Ensure that your business’ turnover information has been updated before submitting the application.

Replace an LOC

If you have lost the LOC, you need toreport the loss and request for a replacement.

Cancel an LOC

When to cancel

Within 1 week after the business is no longer active.

You can submit a cancellation request up to 14 days in advance.

If you want the pass to be cancelled on 15 February, you can submit the advance cancellation request from 1 February.
