The Progressive Wage (PW) Mark accreditation recognises firms that pay progressive wages to lower-wage workers. It enables consumers and corporate buyers to easily identify and support such firms.
What is it
The PW Mark is an accreditation scheme that recognises eligible firms that pay progressive wages to uplift lower-wage workers.
Why get PW Mark
Your firm can benefit from greater visibility and support from your consumers.
Your firm will also fulfil the new government procurement requirement, for firms to be accredited with the PW Mark for the contract period. This applies to firms that meet both conditions:
- Eligible for the PW Mark.
- Awarded Government contracts for tenders called from 1 March 2023.
The requirement also applies to subcontractors supporting the contract.
PW Mark requirement will be extended to Government quotations from 1 March 2024.
Who is eligible for PW Mark
To be eligible for the PW Mark, you must hire at least 1 Singaporean or permanent resident worker covered by the prevailing Sectoral PWs or Occupational PWs.
Who qualifies for PW Mark
You qualify for the PW Mark if you fulfil both conditions:
- Pay the relevant workers according to PW requirements:

- Pay all other local workers at least the Local Qualifying Salary (LQS).
PW Mark Plus
Your firm will receive the PW Mark Plus if your firm fulfills both conditions:
