Your application will be subjected to approval by the Commissioner of Labour.
You need Singpass.
Before applying, you must ensure that your company is conducting its own inquiry into the employee’s misconduct and is unable to complete the inquiry within the 1-week suspension.
You must provide the following documents:
- The initial suspension notification letter to affected employee
- Any other documents in support of the extended suspension application.
You must also provide an explanation on the need for an extended suspension period to the affected employee. The explanation should include:
- Description of the alleged misconduct.
- Reasons for the extended inquiry.
- Salary amounts payable to the employee during suspension. Estimated end-date of the inquiry
