Learn when key functions will gradually move from Work Permit Online (WP Online) to myMOM Portal in 2026 and 2027, and how this will make your transactions simpler and more seamless.
From May 2026: Issue function
When we launch the issue function, you no longer need to:
- Separately update your migrant worker's address and mobile number via OFWAS before getting the Work Permit issued.
- Upload hard copy medical reports or chest x-rays. Your medical service provider will submit the medical results directly to MOM, saving you time and effort.
For Medical Service Providers: From end April 2026, you can directly submit workers’ medical examination (ME) results electronically through our ME Portal, and no longer need to arrange for employers to collect the hard copy ME reports from you.

From second half of 2026: Cancel function
You will be able to experience simplified Work Permit cancellation processes.
From first half of 2027: Renew function
Medical results would be submitted by your medical service provider, just like the issue function, meaning less task for you
By end of 2027: Enhancements completed
You will be able to perform all Work Permit transactions in one place within myMOM Portal.
