When to appeal

You should only submit an appeal for an unsuccessful pass application if you can address the issues in your rejection advisory. There will be no change in outcomes unless you submit new information in the appeal.

You need to submit your appeal within 3 months of the rejection. If you miss this time period, you will have to start a new application.

Who can submit the appeal

The following parties can submit appeal submissions:

  • Main pass holder
  • Employment agency
  • Employer acting on behalf of the main pass holder

Authorised employment agents must attach a signed authorisation letter stating that the main pass holder has authorised you to submit an appeal on their behalf.

How long it takes

We will process appeal submissions within 4 weeks. We will send the outcome to the email address provided in the original application form.
