What can I do if my injured employee wants to make a claim for Permanent Incapacity compensation even though the injuries do not seem permanent?

The treating doctor will determine whether your employee’s injuries have resulted in any permanent incapacity. You should request a certification from your employee’s doctor. The certification must specify whether your employee's injuries caused permanent incapacity, which prevents the employee from performing their usual work duties.

Submit the certification to us using WicSubmit, and notify your insurer about the claim.

If your claim is under a WIC insurance policy starting from 1 January 2021, you only need to submit the certification to the insurer.
