If I currently have an Indonesian FDW, how will I be affected?

Employers who process documents for their Indonesian FDWs at the embassy, e.g. if they renew their FDW’s passport, may be asked by the Indonesian Embassy to sign a new employment contract, or purchase the Indonesian Embassy performance bond guarantee, or both.

If you sign the new employment contract, it will replace your existing contract with your FDW, and you will be bound by the terms of the new contract.

If you are no longer employing your FDW at the time of renewal of her passport, there is no need for you to purchase the performance bond guarantee.
