Launch of Comprehensive Labour Force Survey 2026

The Manpower Research and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will be conducting its annual Comprehensive Labour Force Survey (CLFS) from 9 March to 31 July 2026.

About the Survey

2 The CLFS is a national survey designed to collect essential labour market information. This information helps to shape relevant policies aimed at supporting all Singaporeans. Information will be collected from all members of the selected households, and will include demographic and work-related data, such as one’s education and job. Survey participants will be asked to provide their contact information to allow their responses to be verified where necessary.

Participation from Households

3 Selected households, which have been randomly chosen to be representative of the Singapore population, will receive a notification letter from MOM by post. We strongly encourage all selected households to complete the survey online via the link provided in the letter. Survey participants will be asked to provide their contact information to facilitate the verification of their responses where necessary.

4 Households that are unable to participate online can opt for a telephone interview by calling MOM at 6320 7777 from Monday to Sunday (except Public Holidays) between 8.30am and 9.30pm, or e-mail mom_rsd_lfs@mom.gov.sg to make an appointment.

5 The cooperation of households in submitting their completed survey returns is crucial to the successful conduct of the CLFS. MOM looks forward to the participation of all selected households.

6 The CLFS is conducted under the Statistics Act 1973. Participation is compulsory. We assure respondents that all information provided will be safeguarded in accordance with the Statistics Act.
