Senior Parliamentary Secretary Hawazi Daipi to Attend 6th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Human Resource Development Ministerial Meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam

1. Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS) for Manpower and Education Hawazi Daipi will be attending the 6th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Human Resource Development Ministerial Meeting (APEC HRD MM) from 5 to 7 September 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
2. The 6th APEC HRD MM will focus on the theme, "Strengthening People-to-People Connectivity and Quality Employment Through Human Resource Development". The meeting will discuss challenges and initiatives to address skills development and inclusive growth.
3. SPS Hawazi, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Manpower, will speak about Singapore’s perspectives on supporting inclusive and sustainable growth for all at the meeting.
