Tripartite Delegation to Attend International Labour Conference

  1. Singapore's Minister of State for Health and Manpower, Dr Amy Khor, will lead a tripartite delegation to attend the 102nd Session of the International Labour Conference from 13 to 17 June 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland.
  2. The delegation will comprise Mr Lim Swee Say, Secretary-General, National Trades Union Congress (NTUC); Mr Stephen Lee, President, Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF); union and employer representatives, and officials from the Ministry of Manpower.
  3. This year's Conference will discuss issues relating to employment and social protection in the new demographic context, social dialogue as well as sustainable development, decent work and green jobs.
  4. Dr Khor will address the Conference on 14 June 20131 to provide an update on Singapore's employment situation and recent policies to enhance employment and social protection. She will also hold bilateral meetings with senior officials from the International Labour Organization and her counterparts from other countries.
