To ask the Acting Minister for Manpower for the last three years, how many workers benefited from the Senior Employment Credit annually with a breakdown by age group of (i) 60 to 64 years (ii) 65 to 69 years and (iii) 70 years and above.
Answer:
The Senior Employment Credit (SEC) is paid to employers who hire Singaporean workers aged 60 and above, to help employers adjust to the higher statutory retirement and re-employment ages. In 2025, over 349,000 unique workers aged 60 and above qualified for SEC support.
2. Table 1 shows the annual breakdown by age group, from 2023 to 2025.
