To ask the Acting Minister for Manpower (a) how many appeals on the Silver Support Scheme were received from 2021 to 2022, annually; and (b) how many appeals were approved from 2022 to 2025, annually.

Answer:

1. On average, 9,200 Silver Support Scheme appeals were received annually from 2021 to 2025. An average of 5,000 or 60% of these appeals were approved annually.
