QUESTION NO. 50 FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
MP: Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan
To ask the Minister for Manpower (a) what is the number of unsafe workplace practice complaints reported via SnapSAFE in 2025; and (b) of all reports made via SnapSAFE in 2024 and 2025, what is the number of valid reports resulting in companies being issued a warning or enforcement action.
Answer:
Following MOM’s annual “Reporting Saves Lives” campaign launched in 2023, we have seen greater willingness to report unsafe workplace practices. In 2025, there were approximately 1,700 reports of unsafe workplace practices received via SnapSAFE.
2 About 70% of the reports made across 2024 and 2025 led to enforcement actions including the issuance of warnings. The remaining reports either did not contain sufficient information for MOM’s follow-up or did not result in the identification of work-related lapses.
