To ask the Minister for Manpower (a) in the past five years, how many claims of psychological or mental health injury claims have been made annually under the Work Injury Compensation Act 2019; and (b) how many of such claims have been successful in receiving compensation.

Answer:

From 2020 to 2024, there were a total of 23 work injury compensation claims for mental disorders, which is an average of 4.6 claims per year. Twelve of these claims were successful, six were rejected or withdrawn, and the rest are being processed.
