Join the Alliance for Action on Safety and Health for Employment Longevity (AfA-SHEL)

The Alliance for Action on Safety and Health for Employment Longevity (AfA-SHEL) seeks ground-up innovations to improve workplace safety and health (WSH) outcomes and support employment longevity across Singapore’s workforce. While WSH efforts generally focus on high-risk sectors such as construction and manufacturing, many workers across other workplaces also face more common risks that can lead to injuries or longer-term health challenges. With our workforce changing as people live and work longer, and work conditions evolving with new technology, fresh approaches are needed to maximise the employment longevity of all workers. AfA-SHEL therefore seeks ground-up innovations that can make a practical difference and, over time, be scaled up to strengthen WSH across Singapore.

Before applying, please note the following key requirements:

  • Time commitment: Participants must commit to a participation period of about 14 months, from August 2026 to October 2027.
  • Mandatory activities: To receive funding and other forms of support, participants must actively drive the development of their prototypes, as well as provide regular progress updates and participate in a midpoint engagement session to seek feedback on their prototype. More details will be shared with selected participants.

If your company is interested, please register by 31 August 2026. Submitting this form does not confirm participation - we will review submissions and contact selected participants by early October 2026.
