More Options for Representation of Executives at the Workplace

From 1 April 2015, a rank-and-file union may discuss with the employer to represent the executive employees in the organisation on a collective basis.

A rank-and-file union recognised by the employer can also represent its executive union members on an individual basis for re-employment disputes, in addition to the current areas of unfair dismissal, victimisation, retrenchment benefits and employment contract breaches.
