What are the requirements to hire NTS workers in the new occupations under the NTS Occupation List from 1 September 2026?

The firm holds a valid Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)-issued:

• Singapore Air Operator Certificate (AOC)
  Or
• Foreign Operator’s Permit (FOP) and operating scheduled services to/from Singapore.

Childcare workers comprising:

• Babysitters/Infant caregivers (also known as infant educator and childminder)
• Child/After school care centre worker (also known as educarer or early years educator)
• Teacher aides (also known as assistant infant educator and assistant early years educator)

The firm:

• Has a valid Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) licence
  Or
• Is appointed by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) under the ChildMinding Pilot.

Food services workers comprising:

• Butchers, fishmongers and related food preparers
• Food/Drink stall assistants
• Kitchen assistants
• Waiters

• The firm has a work pass account under the Services sector and has a valid Singapore Food Agency (SFA) Food Shop or Supermarket licence.
• The licence must be under the firm’s name as registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
