How do I convert an Employment Pass or S Pass holder to a Work Permit?

You may consider converting your EP or S Pass holders to Work Permit holders if they no longer meet the prevailing EP or S Pass criteria.

However you must ensure that the following requirements are met:

• Quota requirements
• Eligibility requirements

Employers can submit a Work Permit application for them on myMOM Portal.

You do not need to cancel the existing pass before applying for a Work Permit. If the application is approved, you need to ensure that:

• The EP or S Pass is cancelled before getting the Work Permit issued (within the same day).
• The worker has valid stay throughout.

Family members of Work Permit holders are not eligible for Dependant's Passes. Those with dependants should make the necessary arrangements before converting to a Work Permit.
