How is the childcare leave year calculated? Is it based on the calendar year or on my work anniversary?

Childcare leave is measured by any 12-month period agreed on by employer and employee.

By default, it's the calendar year. However, you may choose to use a different measurement, such as the financial year or the employee's work anniversary.
