How to appeal if your migrant domestic worker's Work Permit renewal is refused

You can make an appeal if your migrant domestic worker (MDW) is not eligible for Work Permit renewal. Appeals are often unsuccessful when no new information is given.

Before submitting an appeal, check the “non-renewal letter” to see why your helper is not eligible for the Work Permit renewal.

Use the following relevant online form to submit your appeal and supporting documents, if any:

It takes about 3 weeks to process the appeal, depending on the complexity of the case.

Note: Submit your appeal early. Priority will not be given to a helper whose Work Permit is expiring or has expired. There will be an overstaying fine (up to $500) if your helper does not have a valid pass to remain in Singapore.
