Update of details
Employers or Employment Pass holders must update us in the circumstances listed below:
Change of employer
To apply for a new Employment Pass whenever the Employment Pass holder changes an employer. There is no need to cancel the existing pass before doing so.

Change of business entity
Companies with change of business entity (e.g. Sole Proprietorship to Private Limited Company) may apply to transfer their foreign employees from the old to the new business entity if they meet the below criteria:
Eligibility criteria
- New business entity must conduct the same business activities as the old business entity.
- The company must pay all outstanding levy charges under the old business entity.
- Old business entity has to terminate its registration with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
- At least one of the new business entity directors /partners /sole-proprietor must be the same director/partner/sole-proprietor of the old business entity.
Note: Please note that this is not applicable to cases where the Representative Office (RO) is converted to a Private Limited company / Sole Proprietorship / Partnership / Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). For such cases, a new Employment Pass application under the new entity must be submitted.
How to apply
- Submit a Declaration of Business Activity for the new business entity (with new CPF submission number), before making a request for Change of Business Entity.
- Download a
Request Form for Change of Business Entity.
- Submit electronic/scanned copy of the completed form via iSubmit web portal. Please select ‘6. Work Permit Application Matters for Business Sectors’ under ‘Request Type’ on the web portal.
Processing time
Your request will be processed within 14 working days.

Posting to a subsidiary company
Examples of updates:
- Restructuring;
- Takeover by another company;
- Merger of companies; or
- Transfer between subsidiaries/associates.
To notify MOM Work Pass Division and mail or fax the following documents:
- A letter from the organisation requesting the transfer and an undertaking to be responsible for the stay, maintenance and repatriation of the Employment Pass holder;
- Documents to prove the relationship between the two entities, such as:
- Both the current and new employers' business profile or instant information from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority;
- Published organisation chart;
- Audited accounts highlighting the relationship between both entities;
- Merger and/or acquisition reports, press releases etc.

Change of company name (Without any change in legal entity/registration number)

Change of designation
To notify MOM Work Pass Division and to submit a letter with the signatories of the employer and the employee on the new designation and its duties.
If the request for change of designation is successful, an approval letter will be issued to the new company/pass holder. The Employment Pass holders are required to carry the approval letter until the next pass renewal. New Employment Pass cards will be issued to the Employment Pass holders upon renewal.

Change of residential address
To update MOM Work Pass Division through:
- EP Online
The pass holder/company representative is required to log in to EP Online (SingPass is required). Click on "Change Particulars > Residential Address of Pass Holder" on the left function bar to update the residential address. Acknowledgment is immediate. If the pass holder is holding a Disembarkation/Embarkation card (Green Card), the acknowledgment page must be printed and kept with the Green Card.
If the pass holder is an employer of a Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW), the pass holder's new residential address will be updated as the new place of work for the Foreign Domestic Worker.

A notification letter will be sent to the new residential address within one week upon receiving the form. If the pass holder is holding a Disembarkation/Embarkation card (Green Card), the notification letter must be kept together with the Green Card.

Change of travel documents (including renewal)
For holders of the Employment Pass card
For holders of the laminated Disembarkation/Embarkation card (Green Card)
From 1 May 2012, MOM will no longer transfer the Employment Pass (EP) endorsement when the EP holder obtained a new travel document/passport. Instead, the pass holder will need to replace the Disembarkation/Embarkation card (Green Card) with a Long Term Pass (LTP) card at the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC).
How to get a LTP card:
- Make an e-appointment (select “Other Services – Card Replacement for Employment Pass and Related Pass”) before visiting the Employment Pass Services Centre
- Bring along the following documents on the appointment day:
- Disembarkation/Embarkation card (Green Card);
- Employment Pass holder's old and new travel documents/passports;
- Passport size photograph of the pass holder with these photograph specifications; and
- The e-appointment confirmation slip
- The new LTP card will be ready for collection four working days after registration of fingerprints and the photo image.
Note: The Employment Pass holder has to go to Employment Pass Services Centre personally on the appointment day to register the fingerprints and the photo-image.

Loss of Employment Pass
An Employment Pass holder should apply for a replacement card at the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) if the Employment Pass card is lost. A replacement fee of $60 (payable in cash, NETS or Visa/Mastercard) will be charged for the new Employment Pass card. An e-appointment must be made before visiting EPSC.

The following documents are required:
- Pass holder's original travel document/passport
- A completed
Application Form for Replacement of LTP or Green Card
- For Employment Pass holders replacing their Green Cards, a passport-size photograph of the pass holder with these
Photograph specifications
(Note: You are advised to view the photograph specifications to ensure smooth processing of your card replacement request at the EPSC.)
- An authorisation letter if a third party is submitting the application and collecting the replacement card on the Employment Pass holder's behalf.
- The e-appointment confirmation slip.
Note: For loss of existing Green Card, the pass holder has to be present at the Employment Pass Services Centre for registration of the fingerprint and photo-image. (A new Employment Pass card will be issued as a replacement for lost Green Card request.)
The pass holder is reminded to handle his/her Employment Pass card or Disembarkation/Embarkation card with care at all times. Please note that strict action will be taken against the employer and/or pass holder who are found making false declarations on the loss of the card.
