We recommend applying for your family’s passes after your pass has been approved. Although you can apply for your family’s passes immediately after you apply for an Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass, you may lose the application fees for each family pass if your Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass application gets rejected. |

How to apply
- Prepare the documents required.
- Complete the online application form.
- Pay the $105 application fee via Visa or Mastercard.

You may check your application status online after 4 weeks.

- Your processing time may take longer than 4 weeks
- We will email you (please reply directly to our email)
Receiving your application results
We will send your results to the email indicated in your application form.
If your pass is approved, you should also receive an IPA letter. The IPA letter is a pre-approved single-entry visa for your dependant to enter Singapore.
It gives your dependant 6 months to enter Singapore and get their pass issued.

- Ensure that the dependant complies with the latest travel requirements.
After arriving
Your dependant should show their IPA letter to the immigration officer.

Make an appointment
Once your dependant arrives in Singapore they should make an appointment to get their pass issued at our Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC).
If you cannot find a suitable appointment date, send us an enquiry.

A local address where we can deliver the card, and details of up to 3 authorised recipients to receive the card.

$225 for each pass issuance. An additional $30 for each Multiple Journey Visa, if applicable. You may use VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, NETS or CashCard to pay for your fees. If your credit or debit card was not issued in Singapore, please ensure it has been activated for overseas use. |

If you need more time to get the pass issued because your dependant is still waiting for their medical results, you should:
- Submit a request to extend their Short-term Visit Pass (STVP) within 1 week before the STVP expires. For example, if the STVP expires on 10 February, submit the request from 3 February onwards.
- Upload the doctor's memo stating the medical results collection date.
Receive the notification letter
Once the pass has been issued, your dependant will receive a notification letter that:
- Allows them to travel in and out of Singapore while waiting for their pass card.
- States if your dependant needs to register their fingerprints and photo for card registration.
- Is valid for 1 month from the date of issue. If your dependant needs more time to complete the card registration procedures, you can request to extend the validity of their notification letter.

Make an appointment
If your notification letter states that your dependant needs to register their fingerprints and photo, they should make an appointment at our Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC).
They must register their fingerprints and photo within 2 weeks after their pass has been issued.
What to bring for the appointment
They should bring the following documents for their appointment:
- Original passport
- Appointment letter
- Notification letter
- Their mobile phone with a local mobile number. We will register them for a Singpass account which allows them to access their digital pass in the SGWorkPass app.
During registration, we will capture your dependant’s fingerprints, take their photo and register them for a Singpass account.

When: On the day of card registration
After they are registered for a Singpass account, inform your dependant to:
- Download SGWorkPass (if they have not done so yet)
- Log into the app with their Singpass
- View their digital pass
SGWorkPass app allows them easy and secure access to their digital pass. They can check their status, expiry date and procure services earlier, without having to wait for delivery of their physical work pass cards.
Receive the cardShow
When: Within 5 working days after registration or document verification
Card delivery
We will deliver the card to the given address within 5 working days after they register at the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) and get their documents verified. If they do not need to register, we will deliver the card within 5 working days after verifying their documents.
The authorised recipients will get an SMS or email with the delivery details at least 1 working day before the delivery.
If you do not receive the card within 5 working days, check if you have uploaded the correct documents.
Unsuccessful card delivery
If we are unable to deliver their card after 2 attempted deliveries, the dependant or an authorised person needs to collect the card at EPSC.
They can collect the card 3 working days after the second attempted delivery. They do not need an appointment.
