From May 2026: Issue Work Permit function on myMOM Portal
Before 4 May 2026

Step 1
- Collect completed hard copy ME report from medical service provider (MSP).
- Update worker’s address and mobile number on Online Foreign Worker Address Service (OFWAS).
Step 2
Wait for at least an hour before logging in to Work Permit Online (WP Online).
Step 3
Upload worker's ME report and get the Work Permit issued on WP Online.
From 4 May 2026, after the new Issue Work Permit function has been rolled out
You no longer need to:
- Separately update your worker's address and mobile number in OFWAS before getting the Work Permit issued.
- Upload hard copy MEs or chest x-rays. Your MSP will submit the medical results directly to us, saving you time and effort.

From 27 April 2026: Receive email notification after MSP submits worker’s ME results to us.

From 4 May 2026: Log in to access new issue function to:
- View worker’s ME results.
- Update migrant worker’s address and mobile number.
- Issue the Work Permit.
If you need more details on any abnormalities, arrange with MSP to receive full ME report.

Step 1
Medical service provider (MSP) completes worker’s hard copy ME report.
Step 2
MSP arranges for employer to collect worker’s hard copy ME report.
Step 3
Employer uploads ME report to get Work Permit issued on Work Permit Online.
From 27 April 2026, after ME Portal enhancement
Instead, submit workers’ ME results electronically through the ME Portal. MOM will notify the employer when ME results are received.

MSP completes worker’s hard copy ME report.
Step 2
MSP submits worker's ME results to MOM within 1 week of ME completion using the ME Portal.
Step 3
Employer receives email notification after MSP submits ME results.
From 4 May 2026: Employer views worker's ME results and gets the Work Permit issued with the new issue function.
If employers need more information on any abnormalities, they may request MSP to provide full ME report.
