Application for Crane Operator

You may apply for Crane Operator certification online.

Application Criteria

• Applicant must be at least 21 years old.
• For foreigners holding a Work Pass, the occupation indicated on the Work Pass must be a “Crane and Hoist Operator”. All other occupation types will not be accepted.
• Applicant must pass the relevant crane operator course conducted by the Accredited Training Provider (ATP) and the certificate must not be more than 6 months old.

Required Documents

• Copy of NRIC/Work Pass (both sides).
• Copy of Relevant Crane Operator Course Certificate.
• Copy of Class 5 Driving License. [Applicable for Mobile Crane (Truck Mounted) Operation]
• Medical Report Form (for applicant 60 years old and above or if required by the Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health).

Important Points

• Fees paid are NOT refundable. (regardless of the outcome of the application)
• All details must be entered in BLOCK letters.
• All documents must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) only.
• Application with incomplete information and insufficient supporting documents will be rejected.

Fees and Validity Period

$20.00 (inclusive of GST) for 2 years validity period.

Renewal

Required once in every 2 years.

Processing Time

Application will be processed within 7 working days upon receipt of application, payment, supporting documents and 2 recent passport-sized colour photographs. The new certificate will be sent by post (normal mail).
