Changes to Performing Artiste Scheme

From 1 January 2012, new controls for the Performing Artiste scheme will be introduced. The circular on the controls can be found here.

About the Pass

The Pass is for foreign artistes performing at any Public Entertainment Licenced (PEL)* bar, discotheque, lounge, night club, pub, hotel, private club or restaurant for up to a maximum duration of 6 months only.

Companies must have a valid PEL issued by the Public Entertainment Licensing Unit. For more information on PEL, please visit Singapore Police Force's website.

Quota

Companies/firms will be given a quota on the number of foreign artistes they can hire based on the seating capacity and operating hours of the entertainment outlets.
