Personalised Employment Pass - When you apply
Application Process
Personalised Employment Pass applications can be submitted online or manually at any SingPost branch office. Overseas foreign professionals who wish to apply for the pass should complete the manual application form.
Online Application
Step 1: Submission of application
- An Personalised Employment Pass application can be made online through Personalised Employment Pass Online. (SingPass is required for login).
- A $20 administrative fee will be charged for each application submitted and payment can be made online using Visa/MasterCard or eNets Debit.
Step 2: Assessment and approval
- TheĀ applicant may access the Personalised Employment Pass Online to check on the status. The processing of the application will take about two weeks.
- An In-Principle Approval letter will be sent to the applicant's residential address in Singapore once the Personalised Employment Pass application has been approved.

Manual Application
Step 1: Submission of application

- Please refer to the List of Standard Occupation below before filling the 'Occupation' field in the application form:
- Submit the completed Personalised Employment Pass application form and supporting documents in person at any SingPost post office (MOM-appointed collecting agent).
- A $20 administrative fee will be charged for each application submitted and payment can be made at SingPost using cash, NETS or CashCard.
Step 2: Assessment and approval
- The processing time is about five weeks from the date of application (This excludes another two working days for postage).
- Processing time may take longer during peak periods or when additional information is required from the various economic agencies.
- An In-Principle Approval letter will be mailed to the applicant's Singapore address indicated in the application form if the Personalised Employment Pass application has been approved. For overseas foreign professionals who have not provided a local residential address, the application outcome will be mailed to the address of the local contact person.
Step 3: Collection of Pass
