Personalised Employment Pass - Inform MOM

Update of details

Employers or Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) holders must update us in the circumstances listed here.

Change of employer or employment status

Pass holder, current and previous employers are required to notify MOM within seven days of the change. This document should be emailed to MOM_PEP_notification@mom.gov.sg.

Annual salary declaration

Pass holders are to declare their fixed annual salary at the end of each calendar year, within 30 days of the end of the calendar year. This document should be emailed to MOM_PEP_notification@mom.gov.sg.

Change of residential address

To update MOM Work Pass Division through EP Online.

The pass holder or company representative is required to log in to EP Online (SingPass is required). Click on "Change Particulars > Contact Details and Residential Address of Pass Holder" on the left function bar to update the residential address. Acknowledgment is immediate. The acknowledgment page must be printed and kept with the Personalised Employment Pass Card.

If the pass holder is an employer of a Foreign Domestic Worker, the pass holder's new residential address will be updated as the new place of work for the Foreign Domestic Worker.

Note: For more information on SingPass and to check if you are eligible to apply for one, please visit SingPass website.

Under the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Work Passes) Regulations, all work pass holders are required to update their residential addresses with us within 14 days upon any change in their addresses. Those who fail to update their addresses can be penalised under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA).

Change of travel documents (including renewal)

For Personalised Employment Pass card holders

For laminated Disembarkation / Embarkation card (Green card) holders

Pass holders will need to replace their Disembarkation / Embarkation card (Green card) with Long Term Pass (LTP) card personally at the Employment Pass Services Centre.

  1. Make an appointment before going to the Services Centre.
    Select “Pass Issuance/Renewal/Cancellation” for Employment Pass holders and dependents.
  2. Bring along the following documents on the appointment day:

    • Disembarkation / Embarkation card (Green card);
    • The old and new travel documents or passports; and
    • The appointment confirmation slip
  3. The new LTP card will be ready for collection four working days after registration of fingerprints and the photo image.

Replacement of PEP Card


Damaged Personalised Employment Pass Card

Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) holders must report the damaged card and apply for a replacement within seven days from noticing the damage. To get a replacement card, submit the request through EP Online.

Who can request for card replacement?

  • An authorised company representative
  • An authorised third party acting on behalf of the PEP holder (e.g. an Employment Agency)
  • A PEP holder who has a SingPass

Payment of Fees

You need to pay a $60 fee using GIRO (for existing GIRO users), eNETS Credit or Debit to complete the replacement request. Once you submit the request, no withdrawal and fee refund is allowed.

Card collection

The pass holder or the authorised representative can collect the card from the Employment Pass Services Centre after four working days, by bringing along the following documents:

  • Original passport of the pass holder
  • The damaged card
  • The card replacement letter
  • An authorisation letter if a representative or employment agent is collecting the card on behalf of the pass holder.

    The representative or employment agent must bring along proper identification that bears his/her name, NRIC or passport number and photo-image for verification. Alternatively, download the pdfAuthorisation Form for Card Collection.

Note: PEP holders still holding the older Embarkation/Disembarkation card (Green card) must first make an appointment to register their fingerprints and photo-image, and bring along the above documents as well.

Lost Personalised Employment Pass Card

Personalised Employment Pass holders must report a lost or stolen card and apply for a replacement within seven days. A police report is required if the card is stolen. To get a replacement card, submit the request through EP Online.

Note
  • If the lost card is found after getting a replacement, the lost card must be returned to MOM immediately.
  • For those who lose their PEP cards overseas, you must obtain a Disembarkation/Embarkation card for Visitors when returning to Singapore.

The PEP holder must collect the card in person at the Employment Pass Services Centre. He/she can do so four working days after submitting the request, by bringing along the following documents:

  • Original passport of the pass holder
  • Completed declaration form
  • The card replacement letter
  • A police report (applicable if the card is stolen)

Note: PEP holders still holding the older Embarkation/Disembarkation card (Green card) must first make an appointment to register their fingerprints and photo-image, and bring along the above documents as well.

Important notes

  • The application for card replacement is subject to approval. MOM may call for an interview at any time, with the pass holder before issuing the replacement card. If an interview is required, the pass holder needs to make an appointment to visit the EPSC. When approval is given by MOM after the interview, the card replacement request can be submitted online through EP Online.

     

  • Pass holders must handle their cards with care at all times. Strict action will be taken against pass holders who are found making false declarations on the loss of their cards. Pass holders who lose their cards repeatedly are required to attend an interview.

Income tax clearance

Employers are required to seek tax clearance. The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore should be informed of any change in your residential address.
