Once you have exceeded your quota entitlement, your quota balance will be reflected as negative (i.e. below 0) on WP Online. Your Work Permit or S Pass applications or renewals may be rejected.
You may also need to cancel the excessWork Permit or S Passes to meet the quota. If you fail do this in time, your excess work passes will be revoked and your company will not be allowed to hire new foreign workers for 6 months.
