I’m covered under the Employment Act. Can my employer impose any employment terms or conditions that are less favourable than those in the Employment Act?

No, your employer cannot impose any terms or conditions of employment that are less favourable than the provisions in the Employment Act. All terms and conditions that are less favourable than the provisions in the Employment Act are null and void.

If there are any terms or conditions that are less favourable than the provisions in the Employment Act, then those provisions in the Employment Act will be used.
