Under the Fair Consideration Framework, what type of companies may attract additional scrutiny?

MOM will scrutinise companies that may have room to improve their hiring and career development practices.

The following factors will affect whether companies may attract additional scrutiny:

  • Companies that have workforce profiles at the Professional, Managerial, Executive and Technician (PMET) level that differ significantly from others in their industry.
  • Companies that have repeated complaints of nationality-based hiring practices.
  • Referrals to MOM from other government agencies which regulate selected industries.
