Continuing Professional Development Programme

Workplace Safety and Health Officers are required to undergo or participate in approved structured or unstructured activities defined in the Continuing Professional Development programme. The goal of the Continuing Professional Development programme is to help Workplace Safety and Health Officers stay competent and relevant to the environment in which they operate.

The following is a list of Continuing Professional Development programmes that have been awarded Safety Development Units. This list only reflects the programmes that have been approved for SDU for the past 1 month.

Organisers of structure programmes may submit applications to the Workplace Safety and Health Continuing Professional Development Board for their activities to be approved under the Continuing Professional Development programme. Applications are processed by the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers (SISO) Secretariat in accordance with the prescribed criteria and procedures set by the CPD Board.

Applications that do not meet the prescribed criteria will be rejected. Appeals for reconsideration will be referred to the Board for evaluation and decision. These may include applications that are beneficial to the WSH community, but do not meet the existing prescribed criteria.

In the event of a dispute arising from the outcome of an application for approval, such dispute shall be deliberated by the Board. The decision of the Board shall be final.
