Why did MOM broaden the job advertising requirement under the Fair Consideration Framework?

All employers are expected to consider Singaporeans fairly for jobs.

From 1 July 2018, we broadened the job advertising requirement to cover more firms and jobs. This is to strengthen the Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) further, so as to support local PMETs’ fair access to more and better employment opportunities.

Regardless of whether they are required to do so, we encourage all employers to advertise on the national Jobs Bank when they have vacancies.
