Why are jobs which pay a fixed monthly salary of $15,000 and above exempted from advertising on the national Jobs Bank?

We recognise that employers typically recruit for positions paying $15,000 and above using executive search firms, rather than through open advertisements.

Employers should instruct executive search firms to source for candidates based on merit, and fairly consider all candidates.

If MOM or TAFEP receives complaints that a firm may have discriminatory hiring practices, we will investigate and take action against the firm if we find evidence of discrimination.
