Established in 2009, the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) is a strategic partnership between MOM, the Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Singapore Management University (SMU).
HCLI was set up to be an independent institution that raises strategic human capital and leadership capabilities in Asia.
Through partnerships with institutes of higher learning (IHLs), leading academics, consulting firms, and business organisations, HCLI offers the unique ability to bring together best-in-class faculty, thought leadership and insights on understanding Asia, successfully doing business in Asia and its implications on leadership and human capital strategies for Asia.
Through its efforts, HCLI aims to develop global leaders with a strong understanding of leading in Asia, as well as to build Asian leaders with the ability to lead on the global stage.
In addition, HCLI strengthens the business and HR community in Singapore and the region through its flagship platforms, such as the Singapore Human Capital Summit (SHCS), the Singapore Business Leaders Programme (SBLP) and the Asian Human Capital & Leadership Symposium.
It also offers executive development programmes, conducts research projects and case studies, and organises executive roundtables.
More information on HCLI can be found at www.hcli.org, as well as through its online platform, HQ Asia.
