Update on control measures on your migrant workers residing in dormitories under Phase 3 (Heightened Alert)

  1. In line with the announcements made by the multi-ministry task force on COVID-19, we are updating the control measures on your migrant workers residing in dormitories under Phase 3 (Heightened Alert).

    In-dormitory communal facilities and activities
  2. Essential in-dormitory communal facilities and activities (please see the full list and restrictions in Annex A) may continue operations, subject to previously approved limits and measures.
  3. From 14 Jun, in-dormitory congregational activities such as prayers will be allowed with a cap of 50 persons.
  4. From 21 Jun, dining in at canteens and communal dining areas, use of indoor sports facilities (such as the gym) and recreation rooms will be allowed with the appropriate cap in the number of persons allowed in Phase 3 (Heightened Alert). Beer gardens will also be allowed to restart with a cap of 2 persons per group and 2-meter distance between each group.

    Visits to Recreation Centres (RCs)
  5. As we are making arrangement for Recreational Centres to be ready for resumption of operations, RC visits will be suspended until further notice.

    Safe Living Measures
  6. We seek your support to ensure that the necessary Safe Living Measures (SLM) continue to be enforced. These include the wearing of masks properly, preventing intermixing between workers and ensuring a safe distance of one metre from another person.
