Actions required due to travel restrictions and deferment of medical examinations to Phase 2

You can request to extend the stay of your pass holders (work pass holders or their dependants) in Singapore until you’re able to send them home. For renewals, medical examinations are only allowed in Phase 2. You can request to renew passes for 3 months without the pass holders’ medical results.

You can request to extend the pass holders’ stay for any of these reasons:

  • You have cancelled their pass but are unable to send them home due to travel restrictions in their countries.
  • You have booked a flight to send them home by 31 August 2020 and need to extend their stay until the departure date.

Appeal to continue stay in Singapore

You can submit an appeal for stay for our consideration if your pass holders’ stay was extended previously, but you’re still unable to send them home by 31 August 2020 due to any of these reasons:

  • They are currently on Quarantine Order or SHN.
  • They stay in dormitories and are not allowed to leave.
  • There are no flights to send them home. Please check with at least 3 airlines before submitting your appeal.
  • They have obtained an in-principle approval letter with a new employer, who needs time to get the pass issued.
