Machines Dangerous to Hands

Permanent Disablements are serious types of injuries, involving the complete loss of use of any member or part of a member of the injured victim's body. For example, the loss of one eye, amputation of an arm or finger, etc.

Permanent Disablements, or PDs, involving hands/fingers accounted for 91% of reported cases in 2007, with the manufacturing industry accounting for almost half of all the cases.
