Note:
- Only inspectors from the approved inspection agencies who are authorised by the Occupational Safety and Health Division, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore, shall carry out fabrication surveys and sign survey reports.
- The work scope of the approved inspection agency and its authorised inspector includes:
a) Review and approval of design calculations and drawings;
b) Survey of the adequacy of the manufacturer's facilities;
c) Checking of welders' qualifications and if necessary test and classify them;
d) Verification and inspection of materials;
e) Fabrication of surveys and welds quality checking;
f) Review of all non-destructive examination procedures and results; and
g) Witnessing of all tests required by the code.
