Payment

Factory notification

There is no payment required for factory notification. You will receive an acknowledgement by MOM for the notification. You may wish to print the notification for reference. 

Factory registration

Once the factory registration is approved, MOM will send you a notification via email to proceed for payment. You may make your payment via Online Business Licensing Services (OBLS) or MOM online payment services.

Printing of certificate

MOM will send a notification via email to print the factory certificate, upon payment approval. The factory certificate will be made printable via Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS) website.

Updates of workplace information

For amendments to company details and mailing address, you can proceed to self-update the information via Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS) website.

For updates of workplace address, you are required to submit the Letter of Award and a request to change the address details in your company letterhead and a director’s signature for verification, to mom_oshd@mom.gov.sg.

Updates of eService Administrator

Every Workplace or Competent Organisation registered with MOM needs to authorise (only) one staff member to be an eService Account Adminstrator. The roles of an eService Account Administrator are as follows: 

  1. Nominate eService User(s) for each Workplace or Competent Organisation record;
  2. Maintain eService User account(s) i.e. Update or Remove the eService User record(s).

Staff authorised to be eService Account Administrator needs to

  1. use his/her SingPass to log in to either of the eServices listed below;
  2. complete the online form;
  3. upload the authorisation letter printed on company letterhead (sample template), indicating clearly the Personal Identification Number (ie. NRIC No. or FIN No.), full name and contact details of the nominee.

Renewal of factory registration

For existing factories under the Renewable Factory Registration Scheme (Group B), existing Certificates of Registration (CR) will remain valid until the specified expiry date.

You will need to renew your Certificate of Registration after it expires. MOM will conduct checks on your factory's Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), such as the Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), when you apply for your CR renewal.

Termination of license

You should inform MOM if you no longer operate at the workplace to terminate your registration or notification. To terminate the factory license, login to Online Business Licensing Services.
