Manpower Resources Guide

Manpower Resources GuideManpower Resources Guide is an initiative by the Ministry of Manpower, in collaboration with several government agencies and education institutions, to highlight the sources of local manpower which companies can tap to meet their immediate and near-term manpower needs.

Manpower Resources Guide provides information on the past and future pipeline of manpower that will be available from education institutions (i.e. ITE, polytechnics, and universities). The information includes the number of graduates each year, the specific skills sets used in training, and the salary ranges of occupations listed in the guide. The publication also provides contact information to help employers to work directly with each institution on recruitment matters.

In addition, the guide also offers individuals who are considering a career in the industry, information on the occupations that are in demand, the skills, and the training required for these roles. For individuals looking to make a mid career change, the guide also provides information on the schemes available to facilitate their move into the industry.
