National HR Scholarship

Importance of HR to organisations

The quality of leaders and employees (i.e. human capital), and hence the processes for leadership & talent development, have always been key drivers of the competitiveness of organisations. With strong growth anticipated in Asia coupled with an increasingly complex globalised market, the human capital needs of countries and organisations will rise significantly, making human capital an even more critical success factor.

Organisations require strong HR capabilities and competent HR professionals to develop their human capital strategy and implement effective leadership and talent programmes to overcome these challenges. To achieve this, organisations need top executives to possess strong HR acumen and be able to synergise their human capital and business strategies.
