During Employment: Change of Residential Address

The employer must notify the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) within 14 days if there is a change in the residential address.
 
You should receive an Acknowledgement Letter/Amendment Slip about two weeks after MOM has been informed of the change. Your Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) should carry it along with the Work Permit (WP) Card.
 
The procedure for updating your address depends on whether you are a:

 

 

You can update your residential address at:
 
  • Counter 3 , National Registration Office (NRO)
            3rd Storey, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority Building
 
  • Any Neighbourhood Police Post or Neighbourhood Police Centre 

If you have updated the change of address within 14 days of the change, it will be deemed that you have complied with the Work Permit Condition and the Work Permit record database will be updated subsequently.

 
If you were formerly an Employment Pass, Dependant's Pass or S Pass holder, you must mail/fax the following documents to the Work Pass Division as well:
 

 



You can update your residential address via:
 
EP Online
 
If you use EP Online, the updated address will only be reflected on the Disembarkation/Embarkation Card the next time you renew your pass. You should print the online Acknowledgement Letter and keep it along with your Disembarkation/Embarkation Card.
 
Manual notification (S Pass holder)
 
Complete the Change of Address Form and send it to the Work Pass Division via fax or mail.
 
Manual notification (EP or DP holder)
 
Update your residential address at the Work Pass Division (WPD). If necessary, a representative of your company can do this on your behalf.
 
The following documents will be required at WPD;
 
  • Change of Address Form ;
  • Disembarkation/Embarkation Card;
  • EP and related pass holders' travel documents; and
  • Authorisation letter (for company representatives only)
