MOM now provides labour market information to students to help them make informed choices on which courses to pursue at the tertiary level. This will assist them in planning for their careers even before they join the workforce.
For those already in the workforce, MOM works closely with Singapore Workforce Development Agency 
(WDA) to ensure that they have the right skills to stay employable. Job Assistance is also given to those who need help in looking for employment.
The Career Compass is an e-guide for students on what are the occupations and key industry sectors in the medium-term. This will help students make informed choices on what courses to pursue in the universities, polytechnics and Institutes of Technical Educations (ITE).
To ensure that Singaporeans have the right skills to stay employable, WDA has been working hard to help workers adapt to continuing changes in the economy.
To help those requiring job assistance, WDA's Distributed CareerLink Centres have been set up around Singapore to provide free services in employment and training assistance. WDA also has an internet job bank where job seekers can contact the employers directly based on the contact details provided.
