At the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), we seek solutions everyday to build a Great Workforce and a Great Workplace. By this, we mean we work to achieve a globally competitive workforce and great workplace, for a cohesive society and a secure economic future for all Singaporeans. Our work transcends the boundaries of our desks – it takes us to real workplaces all over Singapore. We attend to the needs of employers and workers alike, helping companies design and put in place safe, healthy and conducive work places; at public forums, locally and internationally, selling our brand of manpower planning and development; and overseas, engaging Singaporeans and foreigners alike on the attractions of living and working in Singapore.

When you join MOM, you can expect to work alongside the brightest and the best. Like you, we are people-centred, professional, passionate about progress and great team players. Believing in these core values and living them everyday is our common bond and shared philosophy. These values drive the way we work and interact with one another.

We pride ourselves on a diverse workforce. We believe that you bring with you unique skills and talent we can harness for our work, whether you are a fresh graduate, mid-career professional or a retired individual ready to continue contributing at another level. For this reason, we are actively seeking talent of all kinds and with diverse experiences, knowledge and skills.

An exciting career that’s all about people

As a MOMer, you go beyond carving out policies and plans. You make them a reality and forever change the lives of those they impact. Because of this, the work you do is meaningful, valuable and rewarding. Go on, live your dream. Seize this opportunity to truly make a difference.

Internships

At MOM, we believe in continuously building our organisational capability and ensuring we make and remake ourselves for current and future challenges in a dynamic operating enviornment. We identify, bring in and engage talent at an early stage, this includes potential MOMers who are still in school, through our internship programme.

Under this plan, students at various stages of their education may be attached to our teams to take on interesting and challenging projects in both our policy and operations areas. The end of each internship is the start of a possible relationship with us - we stay in touch and keep you informed of our job opportunities and key corporate events.
