You can make an appeal if your worker is not eligible for Work Permit renewal and you wish to continue the employment.
Before submitting an appeal, log in to WP Online to check why the worker is not eligible for the Work Permit renewal.
For basic-skilled workers in the construction sector, you won’t be able to renew their Work Permits if they have reached the maximum period of employment (14 years).
To continue employing such workers, you can consider upgrading them to higher-skilled workers.
How to appeal
Submit your appeal and supporting documents, if any.
Due to the high volume of appeals during this period, it takes at least 3 weeks to get an outcome. We will inform you of the outcome by email and post.
Please submit your appeal early. Priority will not be given to a worker whose Work Permit is expiring or has expired. There will be an overstaying fine if the worker does not have a valid pass to remain in Singapore.
