Comprehensive Household Survey 2015

  1. The Manpower Research and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will be conducting the Comprehensive Household Survey from 18 May to 31 July 2015 on a sample of 33,000 households. This national survey, comprising the Comprehensive Labour Force Survey and General Household Survey, seeks to collect key information on demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population to help in the formulation of policies and programmes.

    Modes of Survey Participation
  2. The Ministry will notify all households selected for the survey by post. 
  3. Households with Internet access are encouraged to participate in the survey online via the Manpower Survey Online System (MSOL), which provides a fast and convenient platform for households to submit their information.
  4. Households who prefer not to participate online can opt for a phone interview by calling the Survey Hotline at 6317 1009 from Monday to Friday (8.30am – 9.00pm) or Saturday and Sunday (8.30am – 5.00pm). 
  5. If households cannot be contacted by telephone, MOM interviewers will visit the respective houses to request for a face-to-face interview. 
  6. All interviewers will display an Identification Card issued by MOM. Households may verify their identity by calling the MOM Contact Centre at 6438 5122.
