Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen's Visit to Vietnam, 14-17 March 2007

Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Defence, is visiting Vietnam from 14 to 17 March 2007.

2.   During the trip, Dr Ng will call on the Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Madam Nguyen Thi Hang, as well as the Deputy Minister for National Defence and Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) Lieutenant-General Nguyen Khac Nghien.

3.   Dr Ng will also visit several Singapore joint venture companies in Hanoi, the Vietnam-Singapore Technical School (VSTS), the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), as well as the VPA's Institute of National Defence. He will be accompanied by officials from the MOM and MINDEF.
