What is #MOMchats about?

"Flexible work arrangements – Make it work for you"

#MOMchats townhall is a series of public engagement efforts by the Ministry of Manpower to engage our stakeholders and to encourage Singaporeans to be involved in shaping our manpower policies and the Singapore we want to live in.

At #MOMchats, we will pre-source the topic and questions from our target audience prior to the event to understand the issues pertinent to them. Recognising that more and more people are having a more active presence on social media, we will tap on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter to provide live updates and information on the session.

At the #MOMchats townhall session held on 26 April 2013, we invited employers and employees from various industries to discuss “Flexible work arrangements – Make it work for you". The panel, Dr Amy Khor, Minister of State for Manpower and South West CDC Mayor, and Ms Ean Yeo, President of Women Empowered for Work and Mothering (WEWAM), discussed the benefits of flexible work arrangements and how we can turn it into a win-win situation for everyone.
